05-06 Playoffs
What a playoff run by the Carolina Hurricanes this season, and nobody expected them to walk away with the Stanley Cup
at home on June 19. They finished off Edmonton strong, and showed they are worthy of sports biggest prize. It was sweet revenge
on the Oilers for Sharks fans who were disappointed to see another playoffs that didn't go to well after the first round.
This season, San Jose has added M. Bell, M. Grier, and S. Ferguson in for some toughness. Florida has signed Ed Belfour to
improve their chances to make the playoffs for the first time since 2000.
